Job Description

Teach arts and crafts on BUNAC’s Summer Camp USA programme – the leading US work and travel experience! Spend nine weeks working with kids aged between 6 and 16 on an American summer camp.

Arts and Craft teachers at summer camps work with children throughout the camp session, developing their skill and enjoyment of many artistic disciplines. Activities can range from drawing, painting and ceramics to mosaics, beading and sewing. There is a vast range of the Arts and Crafts spectrum, and counsellors may be expected to help in all elements or specialise in one.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.

Experience Required

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. For the role of arts and crafts instructor, applicants should be energetic and highly enthusiastic about arts and crafts with experience of working with children in a leadership position. Applicants must also be aged 18 or above.
