Job Description

Work as a horse-riding instructor on BUNAC’s Summer Camp USA programme – the leading US work and travel experience! Spend nine weeks working with kids aged between 6 and 16 on an American summer camp.

At a lot of summer camps, the horse riding programme is a popular and important part of camp. Facilities can range from a very basic corral and stables to an advanced set up, offering dressage or jumping practice facilities. As a horse riding specialist, you will be teaching skills and giving lessons daily; normally in hour-long periods.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. For the role of horse-riding instructor, applicants should be energetic and highly enthusiastic about horse-riding with experience of working with children in a leadership position. Applicants must also be aged 18 or above.
