Work as a mountain bike instructor on BUNAC’s Summer Camp USA programme – the leading US work and travel experience! Spend nine weeks working with kids aged between 6 and 16 on an American summer camp.

Mountain bike instructors teach small groups of children the basics of biking throughout the summer, developing their skills and proficiency in the sport. Mountain biking facilities at camp vary. Some camps have their own biking course with jumps whilst others have a basic bike trail. On some camps without these facilities, campers are taken to a local course or trail to learn.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.

Requirements

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. For the role of mountain bike instructor, applicants should be energetic and highly enthusiastic about biking with experience of working with children in a leadership position. Applicants must also be aged 18 or above.
