Music teacher jobs in the USA

Work as a music teacher on BUNAC’s Summer Camp USA programme – the leading US work and travel experience! Spend nine weeks working with kids aged between 6 and 16 on an American summer camp.

Music teachers may work at a specific musical camp, teaching children skills in musical elements and instruments daily to develop their knowledge and proficiency. At more general activity camps, musical lessons are part of the camp curriculum and music counsellors will work alongside other performance based activities.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.

Requirements

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. For the role of music teacher, applicants should be energetic and highly enthusiastic about playing musical instruments with experience of working with children in a leadership position. Applicants must also be aged 18 or above.
