Summer camp land-sport instructor jobs in the USA

Work as a land-sports instructor on BUNAC’s Summer Camp USA programme – the leading US work and travel experience! Spend nine weeks working with kids aged between 6 and 16 on an American summer camp.

Land-sports instructors at summer camp can find themselves teaching a variety of sports to a variety of camper’s skills and ages. Working with groups of children in activity periods, you will develop their sports skills and understanding. You may teach all activities, ranging from basketball and golf to volleyball and lacrosse.
Facilities at camp vary, but the majority have good equipment, courts & pitches and resources.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.

Requirements

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. For the role of land-sports instructor, applicants should be energetic and highly enthusiastic about land-sports with experience of working with children in a leadership position. Applicants must also be aged 18 or above.
