Job Description

Work as a windsurfing instructor on BUNAC’s Summer Camp USA programme – the leading US work and travel experience! Spend nine weeks working with kids aged between 6 and 16 on an American summer camp.

Windsurfing instructors work outside, often on a lake, teaching children windsurfing and encouraging their understanding and proficiency in the sport throughout the summer. Windsurfing equipment at camps can range from basic windsurf boards to a variety of equipment to suit a mixture of ages and skill levels.

After camp, take advantage of the additional 30 days to travel around the USA, Canada and Mexico. Visit beautiful natural landmarks such as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, and experience world-class cities including New York, Chicago and San Francisco, to name only a few.

Experience Required

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience. For the role of windsurfing instructor, applicants should be energetic and highly enthusiastic about waterfront activities with experience of working with children in a leadership position. Applicants must also be aged 18 or above.
