Do you have a passion for sports and want to share this in America next summer? Work as a sports instructor in the USA!
Camp Leaders are seeking applicants who possess a high level of skill, expereience and qualifications in particular sports activities.
Why not put your sports leadership skills and coaching qualifications to good use at summer camp! Qualifying applicants may be eligibile for discounts on their program fees and increased pocket money from camp!
Who should apply?
Anyone 18 years or older (by June 1st, 2012) who possess:
* The usual high level of personal qualities we expect from counselor applicants for the Camp Leaders programme.
* A recognised sports coaching qualification or Lifeguard certification.
* Experience working as a leader or coach with young people.
The skills which are in particularly high demand are:
* Tennis Instructors
* Gymnastics Coaches
* Waterskiing/ Wakebaording Instructors
* Lifeguards
* Horse Riding Instructors
* Fencing Coaches
* Archery Instructors
* Swim Teachers
Once accepted onto the program, Camp Leaders will endeavour to place you at a camp which best utilises your sports skills and experience.
Must be available between May 1st and June 20th for a minimum of 9 weeks.
For summer 2012, the fees are currently from £349 and this includes return transatlantic flights, meals & accommodation, medical insurance, our support and much more
At camp, you will receive pocket money of around $600-$1200 depending on age, skills and qualifications.
* You must be at least 18 years old on the 1st June in the year you wish to go to camp
* Available to travel from early/mid June through to mid/late August
* Speak fluent English
* Have you a passport that is valid until the end of the year in which you wish to travel
* Be fit and healthy
* Have no criminal convictions
