We are a global community of dedicated volunteers

Creating opportunities for all ages to experience the excitement and enrichment of cultural diversity through our educational programmes. We are founded on our belief that peace is possible through friendship - and that the real difference can be made by starting with children.

CISV provides a range of unique, education group activities, which develop cross-cultural understanding in children, youth and adults from around the world. By encouraging respect for cultural difference and the development of self-awareness, CISV empowers each participant to incorporate these values into their lives as they become global citizens and strive for a more peaceful world.

Every year, our global community of dedicated and passionate volunteers donate their time and creativity to run our programmes. They all share a common goal of creating experiences where children, youth and adults learn to break stereotypes, make friends and develop skills to build bridges across cultures.

Our work wouldn't be possible if it were not for these committed volunteers who offer their time in running our activities and operations at all levels of our organization.
