International Sports Training Camp is located alongside our beautiful and private 100-acre Trout Lake. In the heart of northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, the 400-acre facility forms the perfect setting for a summer camp.

ISTC is one and a half hours west of New York City and two hours north of Philadelphia. International Sports Training Camp combines traditional camping experiences with the one week sports camp experience.

We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation for safety, athletic excellence, great staff, high quality facilities, and professionalism. We train all of our staff to follow in these footsteps to ensure the tradition at ISTC continues. Our staff and coaches stress sportsmanship and team play while teaching life skills in a fun and safe atmosphere. All ISTC staff must be age 21 or over.

ISTC hosts 260 campers each week. Our campers are ages 8 to 17, and come from a broad scope of socio-economic backgrounds. Staff are housed in lakeside cabins that are nestled among tall pines and offer beautiful views of Trout Lake. All American and Canadian prospective staff members must complete a staff application.

Applicants from outside North America, or those not eligible to work in the USA, should apply through one of the following international hiring agencies: CCUSA, Camp Leaders, Camp America or BUNAC. Each summer we employ over 100 staff members in a variety of positions. We are looking for camp counselors, coaches, lifeguards, ropes course and mountain bike instructors, athletic trainers, food service staff, and so much more! We even need trapeze artists!There are a wide range of activities with a diverse range of positions available for summer 2008, the earlier you apply, the more positions will likely be available:

General: Counselors, Adventure Programs, Team Building, Arts & Crafts, Circus Arts, Food and Maintenance

Land: All Sports, Basketball, Gymnastics, Soccer, Archery, Baseball, Challenge/Rope Courses, Football, Hiking, Kayaking, Lacrosse, Mountain Biking, Rappelling/Climbing, Softball, Rugby, Cricket

Water: Swim, Recreation, Volleyball, Waterski, Canoeing
