BUNAC's Summer Camp USA and KAMP USA programs are now closed for this year, but don’t worry, because they’ll be opening again in September for next summer. However, if you feel that you can’t wait that long (because 14 months is a long time!) there are many other options BUNAC offer, which would prepare you well for Summer Camp, giving you the necessary experience for your application...

Work America offers students the chance to spend 4 months over the summer working in any job in the USA, from casual seasonal work to degree-related internships, anywhere in the USA!
How it is similar to Summer Camp USA:
• Spend 4 months living and working in the USA this summer.

So you wanted to teach sports at Summer Camp?
Sports Coaching South Africa is for you!
For 5 or 12 weeks, BUNAC is looking for enthusiastic sports volunteers to coach a huge range of sports to disadvantaged children in Port Elizabeth, South Africa! With flights leaving every 6-8 weeks, you can gain international teaching experience that camp directors would love.
How it is similar to Summer Camp USA:
• Teaching experience of your sport to a group of children, making it fun and interesting for them.
• BUNAC will place you in a volunteer placement according to your experience and preferences. • Opportunity to work in 3-4 day holiday camps during the school holidays.

Enthusiastic and passionate volunteers have the opportunity to work in teaching, childcare or working within a community development project or orphanage with disadvantaged children in Cambodia, China, Ghana, India, Peru and South Africa.
Each volunteer placement is tailored to the individual applicant, providing you with the experience to make your CV and future Summer Camp application stand out!
